The coastal town of Deal’s Co-op store relaunched last week with a fresh new look, following a five-week investment programme to transform the community store.
The store, located in Mill Road, Deal, supports 14 local jobs, and opens between 7am-11pm daily.
Co-op has invested to ‘transform’ Deal’s Co-op, which now includes Costa Coffee Express, bakery and increased range and choice of fresh and healthy products. Self service tills have also been added to offer shoppers enhanced ease, speed and convenience, especially at busier times.
Online home delivery is available through Deliveroo, with orders selected fresh in the local store and delivered quickly and conveniently across the community.
Carly Muggivan, Co-op area manager, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Deal, the store has been transformed with a great new look. It has a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone, along with a range of added services including coffee, parcel services and quick online home delivery.”
Co-op’s Deal store is one of 18 stores Co-op confirmed it would open in the first three months of 2026, either brand new stores or stores re-launching after transformative investment.
