Pearl Forecourts is celebrating the opening of a ‘new to industry’ Shell service station and Spar store at Whetley Hill in Bradford.
Located on the site of a former restaurant on the B6144 and servicing a busy area of Bradford, the forecourt is open 24 hours. The spacious store, serviced by Spar North of England wholesaler James Hall & Co. Ltd, offers a bright shopping experience with a good range of fresh food, snacks and confectionery, grocery essentials and a large area dedicated to chilled drinks.
Within the range is the £4.50 Spar Meal Deal and its ongoing promotions including Value Deals and Price Locked products.
Hanif Mohmed, director at Pearl Forecourts, said he is delighted with the results which will soon be followed by an equivalent premises in Bury: “I’m hugely proud of the team and there’s more to come with our new Bury site in April.
“When acquiring the Whetley Hill site, I identified it as a superb location with the mix of housing and industry in the area and the response we’ve had from customers to our opening has been very positive.
“We have a brilliant Spar store which has a strong range of products and promotions across all categories with excellent availability.”
Peter Dodding, sales director at James Hall & Co. Ltd and Chairman of the Spar Northern Guild of Retailers, added: “It’s been a pleasure working with Hanif’s team at Pearl Forecourts. The site is fantastic, and one the team are right to be proud of.
“The range within the store has been carefully put together. We have the right products to support the community who live locally to the store and serve the high volumes of passing trade that travel by the site in and out of Bradford every day.
“Attention now turns to Bury, and we’re thrilled to be supporting the growth of Pearl Forecourts with two new to industry sites in quick succession.”
