Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC) UK is recalling Arran Fine Foods Caramelised Red Onion Chutney because it may contain pieces of metal, obviously making it unsafe to eat.
The recall spans 14 different packs of FBC’s Caramelised Red Onion Chutney across a selection of sizes and best before dates.
Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) advised. These will explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product.
Anyone who has bought any of the affected products are advised not to eat them. Instead, they should return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund. They can also contact careline@fbc-uk.com or telephone 0800 591 886 for more information.
