The Co-op is welcoming its members and customers from the community into their new Co-op, with the launch of the convenience retailer’s newest store which opens its doors last week, to serve the garden village of Wynyard, Co. Durham.
The new Wynyard store has created 13 local jobs, and is located in the village’s Hanzard Drive.
Residents can pop to their new Co-op for an extensive range and choice of fresh and chilled products; in-store bakery and a self service Costa Coffee Express. Parcel collection services are available conveniently via Amazon.
There are offers, deals and promotions throughout the store - which currently includes two stone baked pizzas and four beers for just £5 for members.
Andy Brown, Co-op’s area manager, said: “We’re delighted to invest in Wynyard, and the new store looks fantastic. We invest to create local stores which are more than just a shop, they are a hub contributing to local life and meeting the needs of communities, with a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone.”
