Carlsberg Britvic-owned beer brands 1664 Bière, Carlsberg Danish Pilsner and Holsten Pilsner have expanded their ranges with new 10-pack price-marked packs, exclusive to the convenience channel.

It is the first time Holsten’s has introduced a multipack format, said Carlsberg Britvic.

The new packs are available from Parfetts and Bestway wholesalers, with both 1664 Bière and Holsten Pils priced at £12.99 and Carlsberg Danish Pilsner at £9.99.

The new formats offered retailers the chance to “unlock further category sales” by tapping into the growing demand for value-led, mid-sized pack formats, said Carlsberg Britvic.

Launched with sharing and social occasions in mind, the new 10-packs are set to help retailers cater to more at-home gatherings, while also supporting rapid delivery occasions, it added.

Over half (51.8%) of convenience shoppers purchased a price-marked product within the convenience channel from late June to mid-September this year, according to Lumina Intelligence.

For shoppers, price marking signals clear value, while larger formats help retailers to increase basket spend, added Carlsberg Britvic.
