The Co‑op has announced the launch of a range of “premium small plates” for the summer months, with 25 new Mediterranean-inspired dishes that “bring the flavours of summer holidays straight to shoppers’ homes,” it said.
The new Irresistible Small Plates range spans dips, antipasti, bite sized snacks and tapas classics such as chorizo bites, pancetta croquettes and stuffed ricotta peppers, all ideal for sharing.
Available in stores and online now, the range combines bold flavours with the quality ingredients of Co‑op’s Irresistible range. Tapping into the growing appetite for more flexible, social dining, the range “leans into the continued popularity of Mediterranean cuisine, as well as the rising ‘snack‑tails’ trend where savoury bites are paired with cocktails, often found on menus across the country,” Co-op said.
The small plates also sit alongside Co‑op’s wider picnic and deli offering, with both premium and standard lines included in a ‘3 for 2’ deal throughout the summer, providing shoppers with plenty of mix and match options for casual summer eating.
