Premier retailer Mandeep Singh has hit a milestone of £50,000 of sales per week on deliveries via the Scoot platform.

Running across Mandeep’s, Bal’s and Vrinder’s three stores in the Sheffield area, the family transitioned to the Scoot platform six months ago.

Created by Booker, Scoot is a rapid grocery ordering platform that enables independent convenience retailers to reach more shoppers and drive additional revenue by offering delivery in as little as 30 minutes.

The platform connects stores to a wider digital audience through targeted listings, while providing retailers with the tools and operational support needed to meet modern expectations around speed, accuracy, and communication.

Commenting on the milestone, the Singh brothers said: “We’ve been incredibly pleased with the growth we’ve seen since moving our delivery operation onto Scoot. The platform has helped us reach more customers and make our service faster and more reliable. Our customers love the convenience, and it’s been great to see delivery becoming such an important part of our business.”

Booker’s head of home delivery, Damian Sanderson, said: “It’s fantastic to see the Singh family continuing to grow their delivery business with Scoot. Reaching over £50,000 in weekly sales is a significant achievement and shows the potential for independent retailers when they embrace rapid delivery. We’re excited to see their success continue.”
