Origin Coffee, one of the UK’s longest-standing speciality coffee roasters, has launched its first ready-to-drink (RTD) Iced Black Coffee.
Produced entirely in-house at the roaster’s dedicated Cold Brew Brewery in Cornwall, the new 250ml can “bridges high-end speciality extraction with modern grab-and-go convenience,” it said.
To support stockists and retailers, the launch is backed by an exclusive 24-pack wholesale trade case, alongside single-can retail distribution with an RRP of £3.
Origin’s latest innovation contains just two ingredients - pure Cornish water and speciality coffee. Containing zero added sugars, E-numbers, preservatives, or artificial additives, the ambient, shelf-stable format offers strong rate-of-sale potential.
The debut release features a washed Heirloom single-origin bean from Ethiopia, yielding “clean, sophisticated tasting notes of bright raspberry, juicy nectarine, and smooth brown sugar,” Origin said.
Tom Sobey, founder, said: “This launch reflects our dedication to bringing exceptional speciality coffee into more of life’s everyday moments. We wanted to create a product that truly allows you to ‘go anywhere’ with Origin - designing a can that travels effortlessly, stores easily, and delivers flavour that stands out in the market, offering the natural sweetness, clean profile, and true integrity of speciality coffee.”
