Abingdon Co-op and Post Office has relaunched and is now welcoming the community back into the new-look store following a seven-week programme of improvements.
The Co-op on Northcourt Road supports 19 local jobs and has been described as ‘totally transformed’ as it re-opens following the enhancements. Pictured above is store manager Jonathan Hall shortly after the relaunch.
With newly extended opening hours, the store includes Post Office services, an in-store bakery and Costa Coffee Express alongside a focus on fresh, healthy and chilled produce, food-to-go and meal deals.
Quick and convenient online home delivery of groceries is available through Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats, with orders picked fresh in the local store and delivered in the community, often in as little as under 60 minutes.
Amanda Fleming, Co-op’s area operations manager, said: “The whole team’s delighted to invest in Abingdon and relaunch the community’s Co-op. We have had a great response, and we’re really enjoying welcoming members and customers old and new back. It looks great - it’s been totally transformed, with a range of added services including a Post Office, Costa Coffee and online home delivery for added ease and convenience.”
