Jisp has added a new video feature to its Scan & Win initiative.
Scan & Win Video allows shoppers to scan moving video content – from TV ads and digital signage to cinema screens and social videos – to instantly unlock rewards and enter instant win competitions.
The new feature aims to drive footfall, long-term loyalty and product trials - particularly for new or hero SKUs.
Consumers simply open the Jisp app and scan a video as it plays - whether it’s on a TV, digital display, in-store monitor or even a mobile feed.
Upon scanning, they are instantly rewarded with entry into a prize draw, instant win notifications and brand-funded promotions or product discounts.
The innovation enables brands to engage consumers across all media environments and funnel them directly into in-store action, said Jisp.
“Imagine watching a football match or a film trailer, scanning a screen with your phone, and winning a discount on a related product in your local shop,” added Rimmer. “It’s part gaming, part sampling—and fully measurable ROI,” said Alex Rimmer, director of marketing & communications at Jisp.
