The Co-op in Queen Street, Exeter, has reopened after an eight-week programme of works and improvements, and is the first of around 80 in the group across the UK to have a major refurbishment in 2025.
Alongside the new-look, the investment in the store offers an enhanced range of fresh and healthy produce and a focus on its food to go offering and meal deals. The online delivery of groceries is also available through Just Eat, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
The relaunch comes after the Co-op revealed growth ambitions with plans to open up to 75 new stores this year, consisting of estate and franchise stores. Plus, up to 80 further stores are also set to undertake major refurbishments in 2025.
Shaun Farleigh, store manager (pictured above), said: “The store has been totally transformed with a great new- ook. We’re really looking forward to welcoming our members and customers back into their Co-op store.”
The newly revamped store now opens between 6am-10pm daily.
