Stella Artois has launched its latest Super Bowl LIX advert ‘David and Dave’ featuring David Beckham and Matt Damon.
The playful 60-second spot, features Beckham walking into a pub for a drink with his “parents”, as they casually reveal the existence of a long-lost twin brother, named ‘Other David’.
The revelation prompts the iconic footballer to journey across the Atlantic to the United States in search of his long-lost sibling.
Upon reaching his destination, the door swings open to introduce ‘Other David’, revealing to be none other than Matt Damon. He introduces himself as ‘Dave Beckham’. The two reunited brothers bond while getting to know each other’s similarities and differences.
“I’ve been partnering with Stella Artois for a decade now and get more excited with each year,” said Matt Damon. “I can’t wait to keep telling the story of ‘David and Dave’ all year and shedding light on those moments in life worth more, where meaningful connection means more than anything. The Beckham brothers are here to stay, and Stella Artois will be there with us at every moment.”
The advert is set to play on people’s screens during the Superbowl game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on 9 February 2025.
