The robots are back – in Leeds at least.
The store on Swarcliffe Avenue has long been a hub for the Co-op’s quick commerce operation - where orders are picked fresh in local stores and delivered quickly and in the community. Its oinline orders are available via Just Eat, Deliveroo and Co-op’s own online shop as well as autonomous robot deliveries via Starship Technologies (pictured), which have returned after the four-week makeover at the store.
The recent closure meant the familiar robots were not seen in the area for a month, but they have now returned, with the store also transformed inside and out.
