Quick commerce store Snappy Shopper has announced a new strategic partnership with distributors OccaStore to accelerate the launch and growth of challenger brands across the UK convenience retail market.
The collaboration brings together Snappy Shopper’s last-mile delivery platform, Snappy Media’s in-app advertising capabilities and OccaStore’s end-to-end distribution model - including logistics, retail sell-in and merchandising - with a focus on the fast-growing sports nutrition category.
The first wave of brand rollouts will focus on high-growth categories such as sports nutrition, energy and functional foods. Retailers within the Snappy network will benefit from access to trending products, while brands will gain retail exposure and access to measurable marketing tools to drive trial and repeat purchases.
Further details are expected to be confirmed at the Snappy Summit on 9 September, and the plan is to build “a powerful new route to market for the next generation of consumer brands and one that’s fast, local, and measurable.”
