Chilled meal manufacturer Oscar Mayer has announced it has partnered with Indian food brand Patak’s to launch a bold new range of premium Indian chilled meals.
The collaboration brings vibrant flavours and authentic spices to shelves, offering consumers a deliciously convenient way to elevate mealtimes, it says.
While chilled ready meals have often been seen as a functional purchase, consumer research shows that today’s shoppers want more. With world cuisines growing in popularity, ready meals are a gateway for consumers to explore new tastes in an easy, accessible and convenient way.
Oscar Mayer and Patak’s have answered that call by combining traditional spice blends with top-quality ingredients to offer a flavour-forward experience that’s convenient and satisfying.
The new range features seven curry favourites, all carefully crafted to bring vibrant, restaurant-quality Indian flavours straight to shoppers’ fridges. There is a Korma and Tikka, Butter Chicken, Vegetable Balti, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Jalfrezi and a Beef Madras.
The new range will be available in convenience stores from this month and was developed in collaboration with AB World Foods, owners of Patak’s, and Food Brands Now using Oscar Mayer’s Gastro Hub in Wrexham.
